Born on Maui and raised on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi, Kaycee is a true island girl and canʻt imagine living anywhere else. She is a student at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoaʻs Shidler College of Business where she is double majoring in Marketing and Human Resources Management. Kaycee has a strong background in news and media production with over 13 years of experience. She is dedicated to cultivating a family-oriented environment for all. “I want to ensure that people feel embraced as part of the UMU ʻOhana while we take care of our āina and community in the process,” says Kaycee. Outside of work and school, you can find her visiting different eateries and discovering new activities around the island. In 2022, Kaycee was blessed with the opportunity to study abroad in London and embark on a journey across Europe. This experience ignited her desire to travel, kindling within her a deep curiosity to discover diverse cultures and histories. A fun fact about Kaycee is that she began playing Taiko at 8 years old and is currently an ensemble member for Kenny Endoʻs Taiko Center of the Pacific.
