Cat was born and raised in Belgium with a passion for fitness and cinema, spending her weekends playing sports or going to the movies. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication in Brussels, she moved to Los Angeles, and earned another degree in Theater and Movie Making while working multiple jobs in marketing and management. She finally realized her teenage dream of becoming an entertainment journalist and spent the next 15 years interviewing Hollywood movie stars and covering events like the Oscars and the Golden Globes for French speaking publications.

Always in search of a warmer climate, she moved with her family to Oahu in 2018. As no stranger to working multiple jobs, Cat began working part-time with UMU on various events while also working full-time as a librarian at Punahou School. She eventually left Punahou to join the UMU team full-time as our Events Project Manager.

Full of energy, Cat is also a Zumba and Fitness instructor. In her free time, if she is not at the beach or on a hike with her kids and family dog, you will find her working out at the gym or enjoying the company of friends.
